The lipids in Recovery Serum percolate down between surface skin cells to repair holes in the skin's lipid barrier, strengthening surface layers and helping to regulate the exchange of moisture between the skin and the environment. How to use: For daytime, apply immediately prior to makeup base for a silky smooth application. At night, apply last over other products to seal in and protect. Note: Recovery Serum is a breathable skin sealant which must be applied after moisturizer. If applied before, it may inhibit the absorption of essential ingredients. When applied after, the lipids penetrate along with the moisturizer ingredients, while the breathable silicones work to seal the surface.
